Yeah, it’s probably a pretty dumb question, given all the choice that’s out there, but I’m genuinely struggling to find one I like.
Basically I just want to browse tracks by genre or artist, with plenty of genres and choice. And with a clear breakdown of popularity / number of downloads per track (not that I only like popular songs, but when checking out obscure genres, it’s a good place to start).
But…
I don’t want to install bloatware on my PC. I don’t want to connect it to social networking (I told Spotify about 10 times not to connect with FB, yet it went right ahead and spammed me with what friends are listening to). I’d prefer not DRM but if it can play on my walkman…whatever.
