I’ve had some real trouble finding good books (mainly nonfiction) lately. Would you guys happen to have any suggestions regarding mind blowing/reality shifting books and why you liked them?

Subjects I’m interestred; Quantum physics/philosophy, hedonic engineering, politics, learning, NLP, Drugs, Martial arts, rebellion/revolution, to name a few.

Any help will be greatly appriciated

What the heck is “hedonic engineering”–the subfield of architecture in which people design pleasure palaces and vomitoria?

And what’s NLP? I’d assume it stands for the National Libertarian Party, but I’m not sure.
