Rationally, yes. But the degree of offense does crank the outrage factor. A murderer who is forced to have lesbian sex with another inmate in prison by scumbag guards is just as wronged as a minor drug bust victim, but somehow it’s so much worse when all you did to wind up in jail was get busted for something that is now legal in some states.
