Has anyone else dreamt this?
I often dream that I’m at home and I turn on the lights and get nothing… It doesn’t seem that the light it burnt out, It almost like I can’t focus my eyes enough to see the light. I think when It happens I keep trying to turn on lights… but nothing! No light… I can’t see anything!
It happens a lot. Has anyone else had this dream?
I’ve had dreams similar to this… things would seem so bright that I couldn’t see very well. You know what it’s like to wake up in the middle of the night, go to the bathroom, and turn the lights on? You know how you can barely see a thing? It’s like that whenever I have these dreams.
I read a magazine article maybe fifteen years ago on “lucid dreams”, dreams where the dreamer is aware that they are dreaming and often have a degree of control over the dream itself.
One of the things mentioned in the article was the “light switch effect”, saying that it was hard for lucid dreamers to change the light level in their dream. In other words, light switches don’t work! No explanation was given though.
