MC, are you thinking of Stewart’s? That’s the brand I buy up here in Cleveland. They also make an orange cream soda that tastes for all the world like those orange Creamsicles we all had as kids. And a great cherry soda too.
Au contraire, Omniscient; I remember Blue Yoohoo from my youth, and it was cream soda!

Dear Omniscient,
Sad to say, the blue cream soda was anything but a carriage trade item. In fact, it was stocked in the pop/soda/soft drink machine at work. Safe to say it was about the cheapest item going. (I’ve since changed jobs.)
I haven’t had a chance to check it out, but if you’re still interested I’ll track it down and get back to you. BTW, this was in the Quad Cities, so I’m not about to dispute your alternate universe hypothesis. <g>
Blue…Spooky!
ennius… you say
quote… “Where’s the dividing line (do they have some nasty purplish goop in Missouri)?”
alright… your talk of cream soda has officially OFFENDED a teaming one in millions!!!
I have lived almost all of my life in Misery (missouri) and I can OFFICIALLY say that what you are thinking of is the water in the missouri river… though that is generaly more murky. ALSO… were I come from in Missouri, (the Kansas City area… yes that is in MISSOURI!) People despise Cream Soda in ALL COLORS (cant you tell by my authoritizing caps?) you have to travel east (towards St. Louis… the backward shits) if you want to find any hope of a cream soda drinker in missouri). So dont give me your Missouri bashing purple cream soda drinking RACISM! I am gonna start a march… a “teaming million missourian man march” against purple cream soda psudo-drinking beliefs of the MAN! DOWN WITH THE MAN! (whoever that might be.)

UMMMM…
B-Line, I wasn’t trying to insult Missou. Honest. I was just wondering if there were an area of brackish cream soda between the Red (and, yes torq, fruity) and the tan.
BTW, what color WOULD tan and red mix to create?
Hmm… I wonder if they ever made a red version of the “Green River” fountain drink…
Wow,
All this talk about soda pop, and no even mentions the great name of Shasta Cola?
