I’m listening to a brand new copy of Willie Nelson’s Red Headed Stranger tonight.
This is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.
I’m on my third repeat.
Anyone agree? Or, if you don’t, for what reasons do you disagree?
eah, it’s a tour de force. Willie at his absolute most ingenious. I believe, in fact, it was the first record he made after giving Nashville and all its country music baggage the finger and moving out to Austin.
I’ve raved about it here in the past. It’s a fantastic album from start to finish.
Great album. A little to much emphasis on the harmonica for my tastes tho. I prefer From Lefty to Willie from the same time period. But I would need both if going on a desert island…
