Hey Teeming Millions!

Back in the early 1990’s I rememeber seeing a special edition of the Chili Peppers’ album Blood Sugar Sex Magik. It was a two disk set and the second disk was filled with all of the B-sides from the singles from that album. I’ve checked several online discographies of the Chili Peppers and none of them list this officially licensed album.

The Double album had a diffrent name and cover artwork from the usual release of Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Does anyone remember the title of the double album package? Anybody know where I could find it?

Might’ve been a bootleg.

No I’ve seen lots of bootlegs. Like I said, this was definitely an official release by Warner Brothers.

I should also clear up that it did actually have the Blood Sugar Sex Magik liner notes - both the regular album and the B-sides album were packaged inside of a double-disk sized cardboard box with original artwork.

Did it have a silver/grey cardboard case?

I can’t remember what it’s called, but my local JB Hifi has had it in the past.

I’m not sure that it’s the right one, but it seems like it could be it. Have a look here and you might be lucky.
