There’s a beta version of Picasa for the Mac, although I’m not sure if you’d want to use that. it will, however, allow you to export pictures from an album at a reduced size and resolution.

Doing the job. Already uploaded over 600 photos in just a few hours. Reduced bulk images that were roughly 2-3 megs each down to 250-400K each. Perfect.
