Redundantly named places

Tennessee has a waterfall called Fall Creek Falls. I was trying to find out the origin of the name, but Fall Creek may be named because of the waterfall, which was named after the creek.
And then they made a lake and called it Fall Creek Falls Lake.

El Camino Drive.

Street naming probably vetted thru the Department of Redundancy Department.

By law, restaurants on Boulevard Parkway are required to have roast beef with au jus on the menu.

Maybe they just had a taste for the grandiose. My brother lives off Huntington Boulevard in Peconic, NY. It’s a dirt road.

This. Once the local town decided to annex the dirt road my brother lives on, they renamed it from Bonnie Glen Rd, to Bonnie Glen Pkwy. We all had a good laugh at that and someone pelted rotten veggies at the new sign. Of course, the city went on to demand the road get paved (it’s a dead end) and then go on city sewage and water instead of wells and holding tanks. They got their collective faces pelted with a threatened lawsuit and backed off. Bonnie Glen Rd it is.
