Our front door (clear finished oak) is in bad shape. We are refinishing it. It has been refinished before, but it looks like no one has ever taken off the kick plate. The wood underneath it is significantly discolored. What can I use to make it look good. I have read that an oxalic acid treatment will do it. If this is true, what is the brand name of such a treatement?
