You were responding to a post of mine, and there are only two people talking to you in this thread at this point. Your condescending tone and your previous remarks make it clear to me you don’t think I know anything about Islam.

Don’t do that… I abandoned medical study after one semester but even I can tell you that it is not a healthy thing to do.

I never said they did. I have said MULTIPLE TIMES IN ALL OF MY POSTS TO THIS THREAD that that is not the case. I have provided you with three different dictionary definitions of fundamentalism that have all made this same point clear.

It is exactly your definitions that cause this discussion.
I don’t see where is not said in these definitions that they “return to, stricly adhere to fundamental principles and doctrines” which then paints them to be fundamentalists… According these definitions.

The Taliban practice a perverted version of Islam, but to say it isn’t Islam at all doesn’t make sense.

To make what they practice come close to what Islam is about you need to send them to a sort of re-education camp in good old Communist style in order to undo their self-brainwashing.
That does not mean they do not believe in God and have the right to call themselves Muslims. Anyone has the right to believe that what he believes is the right thing.

But I must say that the Mad Taliban at least seem to have a vague idea of what Islam “could” be. One can’t say that of terrorists.

Sorry, not familiar with that name and it is said that I have “feminin” eyelashes, yes = long ones… Yet that does not make them turn into wooly things that cover my sight.

I was not seriously maintaining that they’re actually out fucking camels — hell, now that I think of it, I’m not sure if Afghanistan even has camels, although it is next to Iran which, I believe, does.

Yes, it was cheap indeed and not refering to the average Western pedophile.
Afghanistan must have still a few camels left.

And, of course, the point of my previous post — which I see that I’m going to have to explain to our friend the scholar here — is that, if someone’s already a know pedophile, it’s really impossible to damage their reputation further by calling them a camel fucker. The camel reference was just to give it a little local color.

I agree that no matter what is said about them can in no way damage their reputation more then being what they are. (champagne, we agree on something).

You’ve heard of Bactrian camels, haven’t you? Do you know which country Bactria is in? You haven’t studied ancient Central Asian historical geography? I blame the American school systems for this omission. Bactria was one of the conquests of Alexander the Great. Hint: the modern country it’s in is located between Iran and China.
