Yes, I do, but the “bristles” aren’t stiff enough. Instead of brushing the butter/oil/glaze/etc., you’re dragging these limp filaments over the item. On the show, it looks to me like they’re using actual brushes, but IME they get gunky and can’t be cleaned satisfactorily. Rancid oil…ewww.
OK. I like the fact that I can thoroughly clean my silicone brush, and never really thought about my limp bristles. Seems I will now, though.
I use my brush mostly during grilling, where limp bristles haven’t been a problem.
I, for one, have no answer to this.
But the typing is a real bitch.
Somehow somebody got a hold of my Twitter account and started putting out spam. I still don’t know how that happened, so I changed the password as soon as I saw it and was able to delete the spam posts with no problem.
I’d like a brush with stiff bristles that I can actually clean.
