In Minnesota we play “Duck, Duck, Grey Duck”. There was a thread on this subject some time ago.

Please don’t let me fall into the pool of people who refer to my state as "Warshington.
In RI, a milk shake is referred to as a “cabinet” for some reason (unknown to me). There are also charming terms like “tonic” for soft drink. Also, RI is the most insular state in the nation: a journey from Woonsocket (Northern RI) to Providence (the state capital) is only undertake after long hard thought and much preparation.
Its about 20 miles…
I have a couple of them that I have noticed around the lower Arkansas Valley in Colorado.
-Youse (pronounced: use) It is the plural of “you” - Natives of the area when using “youse” sound (for that one word at least) like a huge road company of ‘Guys and Dolls’.
-saying “on accident” for “by accident”. It makes sense, I suppose. After all, the opposite is “on purpose.”
My sister does that. It drives me nuts.
I once knew a Manhattanite who had trouble dealing with the phrase, “You wanna come with?” Dropping the whatever it is at the end really put her off-kilter, I guess.
Can you tell that my explicit knowledge of grammar is exquisite?
