I deliver his material all the time and to this day it still works. Why is that guy not better known? I mean, what he did with Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar? Legendary!

Why yes, I most certainly do, although I haven’t thought of him in years and years. I listened to several of his albums back in the mid-sixties.

I think he got into drugs or alcohol and sorta derailed his career, or he’d have been at least as popular as Jerry Clower, IMHO.

Wow - haven’t heard him mentioned since, well - the late 60’s. My older brother had at least one album of his and would quote from it. I don’t remember any of it much other than my brother finding it side-splittingly funny.
This was back in the days my brother also bought Bob Newhart albums, Bill Cosby albums and a few others I have forgotten over the years. Comedy albums must have been quite popular back then. Anybody buy them today? Are they even on the market?
