So, I have to write a 2 page paper for my chem class on how Chemistry realtes to my major. Sounds easy, but I couldn’t think of a way that chemistry could relate to computer science. I was wondering if I could get some help from the infamous dopers. Any Ideas?

Look up simulated annealing. In particular, look for a paper entitled “Simulated Annealing: Past, Present, and Future” by Mark Fleischer.
Are you a hardware or a software type? If you’re software, look at computer modelling of chemical proceses. If hardware, look at the various materials used in chip construction: Doping silicon, electrically insulating thermal conducters, etc.
