Atheist.
Jewish Agnostic
IOW, I was raised Jewish but I believe that there isn’t enough evidence to conform or debunk the existance of god, and thus I do not “believe” that he does or doesn’t exist. I do still adhere to many Jewish traditional and cultural customs, though.

Okay, not that exact phrasing, but in that spirit. Could you summarize the content of the thread?
To answer the question posed by Czarcasm: I was baptized Roman Catholic soon after being born in 1959, but my father didn’t agree with the Vatican II reforms, so I was only a “churchgoer” for a few years in the early 1960’s. When I moved to Lafayette in 2001, however, I began attending the local Unitarian Universalist Church because my sweetie is a member. I doubt I’ll ever “sign the book” and become an official member of the congregation, though. My personal belief system falls somewhere in the Deist/soft theist portion of the faith spectrum.
Christian humanist. In other words, a Methodist who believes more than one road leads home.

Forget my old, sinful, irrational beliefs! I’m ready to embrace Truth!
I just converted to the John Frum Cargo Cult!
Actually we call it something different, but such words are not for the ears of infidels!
Hooray, John! Bring me that magic Spam!
None. I find no reason to postulate the existence of a supernatural force and don’t feel “atheism” or “agnosticism” qualifies as a religion.
Czarcasm, wouldn’t it be interesting to see what each poster’s parents were or what religion they grew up with? I’ll bet most follow in the family’s footsteps.
Not me. My parents were devout fundamentalist Presbyterians. I began questioning their beliefs by puberty and thoroughly rejected them by age 25.
