Agnostic.
Atheist (hardline).
I consider myself Agnostic with Pagan/Wiccan/Polytheistic leanings, and a good healthy dollop of Humanism/Pantheism, generally speaking.
Athiest.
Raised Southern Baptist.
Now Agnostic/Atheist with heavy anti-organized religion leanings.
Ditto.
Christian
Baptist church. Fundamentalist. Studying Biblical Greek. Simple.
N/a
Taoist Philosophy Unitarian Universalist
Christian with heavy gnostic and taoist leanings.
I’m atheist agnostic. That is to say, I don’t believe now but I’m open to new ideas.
I say I was raised atheist, but that pisses off my mom, an avowed atheist. Who knows?
Soft Atheist.
Raised as a Methodist but currently leaning toward Agnostic.
I don’t believe there is a God who watches over everyone but I do think the Big Bang didn’t “just happen”. I also believe there was a very religious guy named Jesus who lived about 2000 years ago but not that he’s the literal Son of God. I further believe the Bible is essentially the World’s Oldest Newspaper.
Eclectic Wiccan
Um, that would be me. But Hamish is an eclectic Wiccan too. :smack:
Raised Christian, but I now identify myself as more of a Deist than a Christian.
Haven’t attended any church for almost 15 years.
I got to about page 6 before I got bored. This is why I got a C in statistics.
I believe that all organized religion is fundamentally bad.
That being said, my father was raised Catholic. My mother was raised Lutheran. I was raised Catholic, but after my father died, my mother and siblings and I took on more of an agnostic or atheistic belief (dependent on the person).
So, since 1996, I, myself took on an agnostic belief, simply because I am not ready to commit myself to much of anything in the way of religion anymore. I do believe in a lot of things that Shinto does, but thats more of a practice than a religion. I also like the teachings of Buddhism, or what of them I know. I would need to delve more deeply into it before accepting myself as anything other than agnostic. Regardless, I am open to the idea of there being something out there. I just dont know what to believe yet. So for the purposes of statistical analysis in a one-liner:
agnostic
(I apologize for being so verbose)
Humanist/Atheist
Born Baptist, raised Catholic, currently Kodist.
Saw a bumper-sticker once - "Militant Agnostic: I don’t know and you don’t either!"
That pretty much sums it up.
