I’m really bummed that I didn’t say Exodus as my book of the Bible. It was my first thought, then I changed it. Same with Jerry Fallwell, but then that pic of Jim Bakker crying came into my head. And why on earth didn’t I think of Scientology!! Oh well, the rest of my answers are pretty good I think.

Well, for me, I was a terrible touch typist, so using Dvorak forces me to not hunt and peck.

I like the improved usefulness of the home row, the easier access to vowels and punctuation.

I dislike the placement of R, and dislike how some letters only moved one spot which made them harder to learn (y,h,b). I also dislike how the ancillary punctuation like =/- all moved, since they are used so infrequently that it doesn’t matter where they are speedwise.

Fun feud! I didn’t do so hot, because I missed a couple of obviously better responses. But what the heck, it’s supposed to be just fun.

I hope you don’t mind 5 timd champ but on a smaller board I frequent I’ve started a couple feuds, and now I’ve borrowed this idea for use there. But I changed some of the statements and the one I posted goes like this.

  1. Other than Genesis, name a Book of the Old Testament.
  2. Name a primary god in a religion which existed prior to Christianity.
  3. Name one of the gods dwelling on Mt. Olympus(careful with the names here!)
  4. Name one of the twelve original apostles of Jesus
  5. Name one of the 5 Pillars of Islam
  6. Name a city regarded as holy.
  7. Other than His resurrection, name a miracle performed by Jesus
  8. Name a televangelist
  9. Name the founder of a non-Abrahamic religion, i.e. not Christian, Muslim, Jewish
  10. Name a ‘cult’ religion(you can use whatever definition of ‘cult’ you want!)

It will be interesting to compare the results to the items which are the same.

And I’m not sending rosaries :stuck_out_tongue: as a prize, I’m sending freshly baked cookies. I am a baker professionally IRL.

Which gets me to thinking- we have accumulated an awful lot of data in these Feuds. It sure would be nice if someone loaded the data into a game that we could play in real tiime.

Heh somehow I think I didn’t understand the rules of the game. I thought that we got less points by picking what everyone else picked, so I didn’t pick Exodus because I knew everyone else would. I thought if I picked something more obscure I’d have to split the score with fewer people.

Ahh well.

I always find that I do worse at these things when I know a lot about the topic (because unconventional answers keep springing to mind, and I don’t realize they’re not the ones that the average person would think of). But then I suck at Feud, in general. (Woo hoo for being in 17th place this time, though!)
