Religious tenets of Mormons

When it comes down to it, though, many Christian sects consider themselves the only “true” Christians. Heck, many Protestant groups don’t consider Catholics “real” Christians, although I understand anti-Catholic feelings were much greater in the earlier part of this century. In general, if your particular church has a strong doctorine, any form of recruitment, and a perceived veile of secrecy (or at least discretion) about it, you stand to have your legitimacy questioned.

From an LDS standpoint, my view is that we do not believe anything about Jesus that contradicts what is written about him in the Bible. Certainly we interperet certain passages differently from the Catholic or Protestant religions, but we do not reject anything written about Christ in the Bible.
