Relishes of the world!

Inspired by a truly incredible chow chow my wife made the other day.

I know there are a lot of characteristic relish-type dishes in various cultures around the world. We Southerners have chow-chow. The Koreans have kimchi. There are a few associated with Indian cuisine (although I don’t know their names, or have recipes). I suppose salsas of all varieties might qualify.

So what else is there out there? Recipes required!

Previous thread about chutney.

I also remember a thread where someone had a recipe for banana chutney (made from overripe bananas) but I can’t find it right now.

Chakalaka is a spicy tomato, bean & onion relish from South Africa
We also swear by the Mrs Ball’s brand of fruit chutney, although Wellington’s Peachis nice too.
