Does anyone know how the overnight ratings were? Did they get close to the 15 million viewers that they (and a bikini-clad Carmen Electra) were looking for?
I guess it was tough luck for them to have an early Monday night football game to go against for the season premiere.
I loved the blue hand print on the back of Kitty’s head.
Poking at the bed with a tripod (was it a tripod?) to silence Buster in his snoring and gradually slipping into a homicidal frenzy. Then pulling back the covers to find no Buster:
“Hm. Well that was a freebie.”
It continues to amaze me. There are more fall-on-the-floor-laughing lines in 60 seconds of this show than other sitcoms manage in an entire season.
I cannot see them getting anywhere close to 15 million. The week of the Simpson’s season premiere, only one show averaged over 15 million viewers (I think it was CSI)!
The Season Premeire of the Simpsons had like 13.5 million and it was a top ten show that week.
Given that those numbers pick up during the real season, but so does the competition.
