I have three electronic devices that each have their own remote control, a TV, a combination DVD player/VCR, and a DVD recorder/player. They are each from a different manufacturer. When I press the power button on any one of the remotes, all three devices turn on or off, and changing the channel with any remote results in all devices changing the channel.
Is there anything that can be done to allow each remote to operate only the device intended? It’s a pain when I want only the TV on, and everything else comes on, or if I am recording something and want to turn the TV off, and the recorder goes off too.
