I have a silk tie that fell on my floor in a heap and has developed a crease in it.
How would I go about removing said crease?

I’d say press it lightly from the underside (the side with the seam) with a very slightly warm iron and no steam - most irons have a setting for silk. Start with a setting that seems too low, because you can always increase it little by little if you need to .
Or, I’d bet you can take it to the dry cleaners and it’ll come back nice and neat for you, although this site* says that silk ties shouldn’t be dry cleaned, and [url=“http://www.moncktonshirts.co.uk/en-gb/dept_6.html”]this one says only to dry clean silk ties.
