I just want to express my thanks to both Loach and Colibri for being proactive in heading off a thread that was intended to be nothing other than manufactured contraversy by a serial histrionic. There is too much pointless drama and deliberate obtusity in many legitimate discussions as it is; concocting a subject specifically intended to incite valueless commentary and criticism for the sake of ‘stirring the pot’ is unnecessary and unwanted.

No, sorry. I wasnt referring directly to the closed thread. He was probably trolling but we’ll probably never know. It was the ‘valueless commentary’ part. A physicist mind find a Games thread valueless while others might love it. Its a value judgment which is why I posted the above.
Then your comment was rather irrelevant to what Stranger said, which was in reference to the closed thread and ones like it, not to topics in general.
