Dunno, the CV joint was in rough shape for a long time, but I didn’t have the $ to fix it. So when the alternator finally died, I was grateful that I had waited to fix the CV joint.
I bought the thing used and it was in rough shape, but it ran better than the Lincoln I was driving, so the Lincoln went to the scrap yard and the Honda keeps rolling (with more years and miles on it than the Lincoln had when it went to the scrapper!)
