I’m torn on whether reperations should occur, but if they do:
Tax credit to everyone who can prove descendance from a slave until the balance is returned (either 40 acres & a mule or the price of the labor).
Who shall pay ? I haven’t heard anyone (meaning not just in this board) talk about what others outside the US are responsible for slavery. Read this article:

It talks about an african ambassador going around apologizing for his countries role in the slave trade, and saying that if the countries in Africa didn’t round up and supply them, slavery would never had happened. (But of course, slavery STILL is going on in this world - unfortunately).
Do the countries in Africa that supplied slaves have some sort of obligation tp provide reparations ?
