Hello, all.
The other day, I was asked to do some data entry at a work study gig I am doing. As I went along, my productivity got faster and faster (as you might expect). But what I also came to realize eventually was that I was feeling very centered, energized, and clear minded. My mind seemed as though it was working more efficiently IN GENERAL. I found I was able to articulate myself more a much clearer and more direct manner in subsequent conversations, and I over all felt like I was able to think more clearly and efficiently. As I rode home on the train, I began working on a screen play I’ve been writing, and the ideas just flew out of no where, and I got a tremendous amount done.
In thinking about it, I seem to recall having heard something about repetitive clerical or data entry type work increasing brain productivity, or something to that effect. This came to me after I had time to think about the occurrance. Does anyone have any information to codify this idea, elaborate on it, or negate it?
