Today I tried the olive oil and balsamic vinegar mixed with tuna. Not that is good and i highly recommend.
Now I’m confused about all this peanut butter talk. Ill admit I’m a little skeptical about tuna and PB. Do you mix the 2? Does the PB need to be heated for easy mixing? Or does the PB get spread on the bread with tuna on top? Any other spices or ingredients to make it “work?”
You’re wonderful! I’ll try to make these this weekend–and I’ll try to stop by Skylight next time I’m in Chapel Hill.
Many, many thanks!
Daniel
I just got back from there for lunch today. I tried it with crunchy peanut butter this time… delicious. That’s a great little place. And if you buy a sandwich and a drink, you get half off a book!
I miss living in Chapel Hill sometimes…as a teenager, Skylight was one of our standard hangouts.
Anyway, I made the tuna last night. I didn’t have bruised garlic chilli sauce (strangely enough), so I improvised with Sriracha sauce and crushed garlic. Sweet Jesus: it worked! It wasn’t quite as good as I remembered theirs being, but it was pretty darn close. Spread the bread with crunchy peanut butter, and I had me a great sandwich!
Thanks again!
Daniel
