I am looking for polling research I have seen before, but cannot find it. It asked respondents a question along the lines of, “Are personal issues and crimes impeachable offenses?” or “Is poor character most important in a President?”
The questions had been asked back in the days of the Clinton impeachment as well as current day, and was broken down the respondents party. You could see how the views of Democrats and Republicans had changed, essentially to support “their” President.
