In my busy life I only have time to skim headlines-- but, brother, I can skim the hell out of a pageful. I can skim like nobody’s business. I can skim 800-1000 per hour, if needed.

So, in my headline skimming today, I came across this despicable nugget: Reid Calls on Bush to Withdraw Troops

Now call me crazy, but I just don’t think it should matter what Tara Reid thinks about foreign policy OR the Iraq war.

So since everyone will now be coming in here to agree with me, I will go eat some cheese, recline on my couch, skim some more headlines, and bask in my own awesomeness.

Why is Tara Reid saying anything about politics? Shouldn’t she be getting bad boob jobs and being an overall party girl?

I admire her courage, and marvel in the fact that she still exists, and has been elected to a senior government position, representing the state of Oregon, iirc. Good on her. It’s not every party girl that can overcome bad plastic surgery and career decisions.

I keep seeing headlines about former President George H.W. Bush still making decisions and appointing people and stuff. Hello? He lost in, what, 1988? 1992. Whatever. I think that Clinton guy beat him. Why is Bush still calling the shots? I thought we had a new President by now. Don’t we?
