There is a Mulberry St, in Little Italy, that is unless Mayor Giuliani cleaned it up also.

He cleaned it up, but it’s still there. The Mob still runs the San Gennaro street festival every September, though. Rudy was hell on sex emporia, but not so effective against the Black Hand.
Cool. I missed the festival, but I heard about it. I was at the shipyard for several months as my ship (USN) was being finished. we left in '65, IIRC. One of the last Navy ships to be built there, I hear. Do you know any yardbirds? 
I went to Little Italy many times with a shipmate who’s family lived there. I love NYC. I’ve been away 40yrs, but I’ll go back for another visit someday.
I really like Cafe Lalo for nice dessert and coffee. It often has a line to get in, and it’s crowded on the inside, but check out their menu. Yum!
