Restless Leg Syndrome -- one solution

In IMHO I posted asking about people’s experience with gabapentin, and learned that a number of respondents had been prescribed it for RLS, with varying results.

That drug, and others prescribed for RLS, can have unwanted side effects. It’s a problem I’d had for a long time, trying various ways to control it with little success.

Then I heard that CBD could help, so I walked into my local CBD store and asked what they had for RLS. They suggested Upstate Elevator Company’s lemon hemp extract, taking a dropperful of the tincture under my tongue before bed.

It worked! It really worked! Not only am I free now of RLS at night, the effect lasts into the next day. And no side effects.

This is, of course, one person’s experience, YMMV, IANAD, etc. But if nothing else works for you, it’s worth a shot.

I assume amputation is off the table?

Seems a bit drastic, not to mention residual phantom pain.

I have restless leg/leg cramps as part of my Parkinson’s Disease. I take ropinirole hcl (Requip) for it. 3.5 mg a day. It works for me.
