All the benefits you listed above, and it’s still far enough away from his mother, who lives above Santa Fe, to just drop in. And it has Napolito’s restaurant, which is the holy grail of New Mexico food to DeHusband.

I spent some time in the countryside outside of Taos once. I like it; I am partial to deserts and hills. New Mexico and Arizona are well worth considering, and I am glad you folks pointed me in that direction.
