Can y’all please refer to this new member as apricot syrup? Or a.s. or anything but Apricot?
I’d appreciate it.

Hopefully he won’t be around long enough to cause any confusion.
Seems these guys are wanting to know all they can learn about the White Van Scammers.
http://www.scamshield.com/Feature.asp?id=1
They seem to be all over the place. Wonder if they’re in cahoots with the perfume scam artists?
Oh and good for YOU, pilot141. Maybe you ought to share your experiences with these people on the above site…it’ll make their day knowing that they actually caught some of them.
I’ve been meaning to comment on a red van that I see on my way home pretty much every day. I don’t know if they’re running some sort of scam but they appear to be selling sneakers. Maybe they misunderstood the recruitment pitch?
Sylkyn thanks for the link - I continued my “asshole” behavior by sharing my experience with the ScamShield people.
Good for you, pilot141… I remember the original story.
apricot syrup, if your posts in this thread are representative of your general posting style… then I’d say you have SOMETHING loose in your skull… perhaps it’s your cerebral cortex?
F_X
Syrup, WTF? Just a few days ago, you posted this:
And now you’re condemning pilot for taking action. You’re just picking arguments for the sake of picking arguments (there, I didn’t say The Word). Either that, or you’re very very young, and don’t know what you believe in from one situation to the next.
Great citation, Rilch.
I remember seeing that comment a few days ago and thinking it was stupid and needlessly harsh. I had forgotten about it, however. Talk about hypocrisy! With apricot syrup, you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

That sounds dirty. That is all.
Good on you, pilot141. I remember the original thread and I’m glad something good came out of it. Stupid tax or no, you don’t fuck with someone’s car.
Well it should be obvious, it’s the syrup of apricots that makes one delusional.
One question to the OP: do these guys KNOW that you were involved? Will they find out from court or lawyers or anything?
My only concern is that if these guys were willing to slash the OP’s tires, they might be willing to slash something more important if they do know who you are and get a whiff of jail, especially if they’re in for as short a time as folks here seem to think.
C’mon, people. Some of you are bashing apricot syrup for hypocrisy (or, at least, inconsistency) and some of you are bashing it for a lack of common sense. I can’t really argue against your positions, but I submit that a s is guilty of far worse crimes: to wit, a failure to actually understand the language in which it is posting:
This is especially so in a society where Enron and Microsoft executives flaunt the law and earn billions while doing it.
(emphasis added)
Leaper I have no idea if these guys will be able to find out that I was the one who called.
I have moved since the complaint was filed, so even if they manage to dig it up the address on it would be wrong.
I’m not losing any sleep over it!
Law enforcement serves as a deterrent, it doesn’t serve as a correction.
Even IF we accept this as true (and I don’t), this is still a dumb statement. The implication by AS is that it is evil revenge to help law enforcement follow through on arresting anyone.
Hey, Apricot Syrup, just what kind of deterrent is there going to be if law enforcement never actually arrests anyone?
Seriously, you’ve NEVER tried to control a group of kids, have you? This is crowd control 101.
