Literally thousands have died, beheadings, forced marriages, brutal rapes, heads on pikes in the city centre, but it’s the destruction of some piles of rock, already in ruin, that’s got you hot and bothered?
Mesopotamia remains part of our history whether standing or disappeared. Unlike all the lives lost and families destroyed.
