The next words are, “you know, the runner in the night.” If you slur the sibilant from the end of “deuce” into the beginning of “you,” it’s very likely to turn into a “sh” sound.

I’m guessing ‘wrapped up’ means ‘made into a hotrod’. The ‘deuce’, as noted, is a ‘deuce coupé’ (i.e., a 1932 Ford). ‘Another runner in the night’ – That’s what you do with a deuce coupé, run it (cruising the boulevard, or drag racing).
