RF adaptors

I recently purchased a used Sega Genesis. Instead of the red/yellow/white AV cables, it has an RF adaptor. Unfortunately, my TV does not have a slot for this that I can find. It’s entirely possible that I just don’t have a good understanding of how this works, but does anyone have any idea how I can get this to work on my TV?

Thanks a bunch.

If it’s what I think it is, it would be an unusual television set which didn’t have a connector for it–it’s supposed to plug into the antenna/cable connector on the back, then you tune the TV to either channel 3 or 4. Most of them have a similar connector on the RFU for the antenna or cable; this type acts as a switch, switching over to the antenna/cable when the game is turned off.

If it’s similar to this one, then it’s the type I’m talking about. The short cable coming out of the left side of it goes to the TV antenna in, and the antenna or cable connects to the little silver connector on the right side. The long cable connects to the game’s RF out.
