Rhodes Scholar - is there a master list?

I have a relative who has a friend, who she claims is a Rhodes Scholar. He is undoubtedly bright, and she claims he is a Rhodes Scholar. I think he is full of it, but who knows… Is there a master list of all scholars chosen throughout the years? He is around 50, so it would have been sometime ago.

I kinda doubt it; there are 82 chosen every year, 32 from the U.S. It’s also a graduate scholarship, and the students must earn their acceptance to Oxford as well.

There is a periodical, the ‘American Oxonian’ which claims to be a list of all living (and recently deceased) Rhodes Scholars. You could attempt to track down a copy of this, though I doubt it’s all that easy to come across (I just found it the other day, but not in a place that was open to the public; I’d never seen it before).

I guess I’ll look for the above book.

8675309, I understand that this is a really old thread (I came across it while doing a search) and that you probably forgot about it long ago, but I think I can help you with your question. Drop me a message (my e-mail address is availbale in my profile) if you haven’t found an answer so far.

Zombie thread about zombie scholars!! It’s surely a sign of the zombie apocalypse!

Or you could tell the rest of us, and maybe word will get around.
