Simple question: do students from military academies compete for rhodes scholarships on the same level as students from other schools? Is there some sort of arrangement whereby a few slots are guaranteed to the academies?
According to the Wikipedia page, there have been:
70 Rhodes scholars from the US Military Academy,
34 from the US Naval Academy, and
33 from the US Air Force Academy.
That pales in comparison to Harvard’s illustrious 315.
