And looks like these days, that pain in the ass is more likely to be constipation.
Sad in itself for each individual, sad for what it means for the musical genre, and sad as a reminder to me (and all of us) of our own passing lives.
But at least we might get a few secrets revealed as deathbed confessions. The meaning of Zoso, for example…
About 10 years ago, I predicted that rock stars would start dropping like flies. They are getting to the ages when people die, and the drug use didn’t help their situations.
Everybody dies, but now it’s from natural causes.
About a week ago (inspired by the thread about sad/cruel deaths), I thought about:
- What celebrity death affected me the most?
- What living celebrity’s death would affect me the most?
- Would the death from the second question affect me more than the first one?
The answer for number 2 was Ric Ocasek. And the answer to the third was that it would affect me more than any previous celebrity death. So, about a week ago I concluded that Ric Ocasek’s death would affect me more than any other celebrity, past or future.
So, the worst is over, in terms of celebrity deaths.
These last few days, the T-Mobile commercial has made me sad for its use of the Cars’ Magic. I think about Ric and the good music he left us. I’ve had Cars songs running in a soundtrack through my head.
…the girl with the martini shaker and all that hair at the end of the video.
Ooooof! Marone!
Curiously, I can’t seem to find a name for the shaker lady. I wonder who she is?
Those are interesting questions. You might consider starting a new thread with them.
