Rice

I forgot to use chicken stock in the rice, so it was water, rice, dried parsley, and then the toasted slivered almonds in butter. It turned out well, though it would have been better with the chicken stock.

As for the fish, I was going to just put on a little salt and some tarragon, and bake it. But then I suddenly found this recipe. I used regular mayonnaise, and I only had 0.8 pounds of fish. It turned out nicely. :slight_smile:

And I also heated up some frozen peas in a couple of tablespoons of butter.

I just shake some in until it looks about right. I’d guess a 1/2 teaspoon for 1 cup dry-measured white rice is plenty. I put more in if I want the color to be more intense.
