Riddle, can anyone get it?

I wouldn’t have got the riddle answer right without research, but you guys brought back a long-forgotten childhood memeory.

When I was a kid, I grew up in Turkey. I lived in Bodrum, a sea side town, for a year. While there we had a cat. It used to follow us kids into the ocean, swimming way way out into the surf. As I recall, it was short haired, so I guess it was a Turkish Van. Cool! This cat was also very attached to me, and would ride around on my shoulder. I don’t remeber whether it chirped or meowed, though.

Add Bengal cats to the list of those that chirp, swim, and fetch. Bengals are well known for their fascination with water - actually, they can be darn pests about it.

A recent topic on Bengals-L concerned toilet-training your cats (yes, you can do it!), and everyone recommended that you NOT teach them to flush unless you don’t mind paying huge water bills. They will flush the toilet over and over again so they can play with the water swirling down the drain.

Nitpick: This is less a riddle than a trivia question.
