Exactly!! Every day since November 2016, I wake up and think “obviously that was all a bad dream,” until I realize that, somehow, it was (and is) for real. That many millions of my fellow Americans really are that stupid.
I still can’t believe it.
Still plenty of Trump flags flying in my neck of the woods, even after all that has happened.
I’m sort of stuck in Denver for another week or two. Have not seen any Trump flags. None near where I live in the mountains either. My home is 100 miles east of Denver.
Perhaps, perhaps there is some sanity returning.

Yeah. Embarrassing. I’m at my deceased mothers home in Denver taking care of things. It’s my home now . And I have my real home 100 miles WEST of here. I have an office set up in Denver, as well as my real home.
The days of the week have become completely irrelevant.
And there is a close cousin in Denver that is a step away from death that I’m helping out with. So I go back and forth.
I disagree. It’s pointless to engage with conspiracy theorists, regardless of their political beliefs. It’s pointless to engage with science-deniers, regardless of their political beliefs.
Why are you saying “I disagree” and then agreeing with them?
Science deniers and conspiracy theorists exist on the left also. They’re less common but they exist. Just look at RFK Jr. (Though I suspect he’s drifting to the right of late, despite his history of being a defender of the environment.)
