After posting a recent message on a proposed Houdope, the first thing I wanted to do was let Ringo know, as he is the biggest asset in organizing Houdopes. I tried to e-mail him through the SDMB, but his e-mail has been blocked. I did a search of his posts, and the last one was on March 4. March 4? Ringo has never left the SDMB for three weeks.
Is he out of town on vacation? Was there confict with the Mods? Is he OK?
Did you try calling him on the phone?
According to his profile, he was around just today.
I do not have Ringo’s phone number. Although I have known him for about 3 years, I don’t even know his real name! Thanks, QED. I only checked his last post. He has reverted to lurker status. Hopefully, he will see his name on the post titles and come out of his hermitage.
Jeepers cripes, I thought this thread was saying Ringo Starr was dead. Whew!
And on a more on-topic note, I’m glad Ringo (nee’ beatle) is still here, even if he’s only lurking at the moment.

I’ve been wondering where he is too. But I can understand taking a break. Sometimes life gets a little busy. I’m glad he’s still here too.
Whew! Don’t scare me like that. I can’t imagine this board without Ringo here; any more than I can imagine a Houdope without him. He even has come to SA for two dopefests. I hope he comes out of hiding soon.

If that had been the case we would only need Paul to die and the Beatles would be back together.
Ringo still hasn’t posted since the 4th. But the board is indicating he’s been active, presumedly reading threads. Maybe it’s a computer glitch (I once got locked out where I could read but not post).
Ringo, if you’re out there, let us know. And if there’s any other Houston dopers who can call him, I’ll email his phone number to you if you don’t have it.

Sorry, folks, I didn’t mean to cause any alarm. Between a slightly funkadelic computer (I can see you sent me an email, lieu, but I can’t open it - I’m shopping) and life being a little different of late (and whose isn’t from time to time?), I haven’t been around for a few weeks.
But the search parties found me. I suspected lieu’s email was related, and I just communicated with MsRobyn, who alerted me to this thread.
