BMX legend and all-around good guy Dave Mirra was found dead yesterday with what seems to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
I played his video games and was breathless at some of the stunts he could pull off; I still remember watching the X Games where he nailed the double backflip.
This guy recovered from a fractured skull to return to the top of the BMX world; I have no clue what could have gotten him so down that he’d take his own life.
RIP Dave; thanks for the good times.
