Ed Walker, who hosted the Washington DC area radio program “The Big Broadcast” (a 4-hour program broadcasting classic radio drama and comedy each week on Sunday night) for 25 years, and who was one half of the “Joy Boys” comedy team with Willard Scott (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joy_Boys) passed away this morning, shortly after listening to his farewell broadcast (which he had recorded from his hospital bed). He was 83.
