This makes me so sad, though I’m glad she isn’t in pain any longer.
It’s always sad to hear of the passing of a Doper.

Rest in Peace.
I’ll drink to her, too.
Condolences and best wishes to her family.
Oh, that’s awful news.
Condolences to her family.
Such sad news. My condolences to her family and friends.
That is so sad. RIP, fluiddruid.
Very sad. Most sincere condolences to her family and friends.
Saddened by this news, and my sympathies to those close to her in this difficult time.
RIP, FluidDruid.

I have no words to add to what has already been said, except for this quote from Spider Robinson:
“Shared pain is lessened; shared joy, increased — thus do we refute entropy.”
Roz was a thoughtful, kind soul. I enjoyed working with her very much. Talked with her quite a bit in those late nights when there weren’t a lot of people around and she was always a delight.
The scleroderma that ultimately took her life first made her bedridden and miserable – she would have periods where she was not so good and would have to be on sabbatical – then she would get better enough to sit up and she’d go back to work for us. And then she got more better and went back to work work … and then she didn’t get better at all. Which is very sad.
From Facebook, posted by her stepmother: “There is a memorial in Ames, Iowa on June 10 but her sisters were mentioning a small distribution of ashes at a park in Madison she used to go to. I will make sure details are placed on her FB page.”

Awwww no! Well that is a kick in the gut. RIP Fluiddruid.
RIP.
She will be fondly remembered.
One of the Great People.
Be at rest, Fluid.
Au revoir, Roz. We miss you.
I was puzzled why the username seemed unfamiliar - I guess part of it is my lack of memory, but she last posted in 2014 and apparently took a sabbatical the year before that, so I guess it’s not too surprising that I can’t bring any exchanges to mind.
Always sad to lose a member of this special community, though. There seems to be fewer of us every year, like some kind of veteran’s association… veterans of the infowars, phase 1.
I honestly can’t remember a single negative thing about her. She always came off to me as thoughtful and good-natured. Even gentle in some ways. RIP.
