RIP Harry Crews

DungBeetle posted this in another thread, but I wanted my favorite author to have a thread of his own on his passing.

The Gypsy’s Curse and A Feast of Snakes are two of my favorite books of all time. It is a shame that we will not hear more from this truly unique voice.

Que encuentras un con~o a tu medida.

I’m a fan of all of Crews’ work, but he was always at his best when writing about himself. Childhood: the Biography of a Place and “Fathers, Sons, and Blood” are two of my favorite pieces of literature.

Indeed.
