That episode was the first I’d heard of Johnnie Walker Blue. Damn, but that must be some fine liquor.
I was a fan of his from back then. I’ve stopped watching West Wing since the non-Sorkin era (has it gotten any better?), but always appreciated John Spencer’s skill. Just read about his passing in a sports-related column, and thought I’d check in here.
Ivylass, JWBlue is pretty decent stuff. I’m trying to remember if I had it before or after that episode. I wonder how much was Spencer and how much was Sorkin (who has his own share of vices) in that speech?
