The interpretations coming from people like Scalia demonstrate that that is not a problem for the judges. In the end it is the interpretation coming from people selected by people that had specific biases and ideologies, it is their right then to not give any reason why they could make a law stay. (Although the past evidence and comments show where they are coming from) And that is why I do expect that when more moderate or liberal judges are in the majority for them to have that right too.

Yes, biases creep into individual opinions but the opinion of the court requires 5 justices agreeing on something.

But the comment here is that you clearly did not pay any attention, there is not much of a problem with having an ID, the problem is that the demagoguery and hypocrisy of the Republicans comes regarding how hard they make it for poor and minorities to get that ID.

Again, you are only concentrating on what I even would agree, the hypocrisy here is for not looking at how the Republicans are implementing that popular law because there is this thing called the bill of rights and other laws that protect minorities. It has been found already by the courts in Texas to be discriminatory and the courts and legislators will have to make changes to ensure fairness.

Your stretching of the truth is noted, I did point at what happened in Texas in another thread before and to you. Your dumb way to discuss here is to use a straw man because I already noted before also that what the courts did already is a done deal about the fifth rule. But since the other voter rights rules are still there the new voter laws still can and should be reviewed. And the evidence is that indeed several states have leopard lawmakers that can’t change their spots.
